IT4Innovations represents a strategic research infrastructure in the Czech Republic. IT4Innovations operates the most powerful supercomputing systems and conducts excellent research in the field of High Performance Computing (HPC), data analysis (HPDA), and Artificial Intelligence normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">The first supercomputer installed at IT4Innovations was <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.it4i.cz\/en\/infrastructure\/anselm\">Anselm<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> (94 TFlop\/s, installed in the summer of 2013), the operation of which was ceased at the beginning of 2021. At present, IT4Innovations is running\u00a0 supercomputers: <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.it4i.cz\/en\/infrastructure\/barbora\">Salomon<\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">(2 PFlop\/s, installed in the summer of 2015), <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.it4i.cz\/en\/infrastructure\/barbora\">Barbora<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> (849 TFlop\/s, installed in the autumn of 2019), and the specialized <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.it4i.cz\/en\/infrastructure\/nvidia-dgx-2\">NVIDIA DGX-2 <\/a><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">system for artificial intelligence computation, (130 TFlop\/s and<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">2 PFlop\/s in AI, installed in the spring of 2019).<\/span><\/p><p style=\"mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">In cooperation with the EuroHPC JU initiative, bringing together important European supercomputing centres, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.it4i.cz\/en\/infrastructure\/karolina\">Karolina<\/a> supercomputer with a peak performance of 15.7 PFlop\/s was put in operation at IT4Innovations in 2021.
