The Doctoral School for Education in Mathematical Methods and Tools in HPC (abbreviated MathInHPC) integrates doctoral study programmes and workplaces focused on the development of High Performance Computing methods and their application in computationally intensive research areas.
It was established in 2019 by the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University, the Institute of Mathematics of the CAS, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, and IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, a research institute of VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
The Doctoral School activities and organization are defined by the Consortium Agreement on establishing the Doctoral School with following amendments, and the Doctoral School Board consisting of its partners’ representatives is responsible for its organization.
